8th July 2012, for the first time we had gathering at Neway.
At about 11.25am I went to fetched Lannette and Jia Ying and head to QB using high way. Surprisingly I am good with direction! We still reached there safely. I used to drive up to multistory car park quite fast because I'll feel dizzy if I drive slowly, Lannette was used to my speed but Jia Ying on the other hand unbuckled her seat belt and screamed as she was riding roller coaster. "Wa you are more 'hiong' than my dad!" she yelled. I couldn't see her expression as I need to concentrate on my steering wheel but according to Lannette, Jia Ying's expression was hilarious.
Once I parked my car, Wei Kang called. We met up at Subway but he was on the other side of the escalator which is near Voir? I think it's a boutique shop, couldn't remember well but never mind. If you know me, I'm always up to nothing good. I stood there waving at him for a few seconds but he didn't notice me, so I planned to shout at him from the back hope that I could scared him, my plan failed because he noticed us before I could move.
We had lunch at 上海鼎, Jia Ying was going to show off the accurate way to eat 小笼包but eventually failed, that was funny.
After that we head to Neway for 5 hours of karaoke from 1-6pm. My voice wasn't in a good condition as I'm having my you-know-what-but-if-you-have-no-clue-also never-mind. We were going to sing SNSD-The Boys together but Jia Ying ruined everything.
I found two songs which did not have in RedBox, TaeYeon's 만약에 (If) and 들리나요(Can You Hear Me). I was very satisfied with the first song because I sang well then I think I strained my voice too much because "If" is a very difficult song to sing so I did not sang well for "Can You Hear Me"
The epic part!
Wei Kang picked a song ---最炫民族风 by 凤凰传奇。I thought he accidentally chose the wrong and I cut that song by accident and he was shocked. Okay, does he really know how to sing that song? This song is so not his style and this song is from China, hard to believe he knows how to sing. We'll see about that. When the song started HE REALLY KNOWS HOW TO SING!! Everyone laughed so hard when he sang the first sentence. This song is very catchy, after the first chorus everyone sang together. If I have a chance to choose between this song and 好日子，definitely I'll choose this song to dance with 民间舞。Believe me, If you practice to 好日子everyday for weeks, you'll go crazy.
Twinkle!!! You thought it' s TTS's Twinkle too? NO! I was very happy when I saw this but after a while we realized it's Show Luo's Twinkle。We burst into laughter again.
I did not know what I did, I accidentally chose 青山歌曲经典集 which filled 3-4pages and Jia Ying said I am 青山's fans....Help~!
Here's a song I did translation for the chorus part because the romanization of korean from the screen spelled wrongly then we have no clue what it is.

p/s: I'm still not very good in Korean, so I'm guessing the meaning of every sentence.

The room, no worries it's not a ghost with no head. This is a panorama photo and this guy keep avoiding the camera.
The ghostly guy is a human, blocking his face with his hand.
I dumped that guy in the karaoke room and when to take photo with the girls.
Jia Ying said "Quick, ONE TWO OKAY!"
It's already 5.30pm, singing drained our energy. Finally I sang If again and The Boys. Lannette shouted with all she got when she sang TaeYeon's part high notes, everyone closed their ears except me, ppl, you'll get used to it when you participate in singing competitions.
TIME'S UP! It wasn't so scary when we went down the multistory car park, Jia Ying quickly buckled up the seat belt (and now she's being obedient). Sent my GPS home, we paid him before he could ran away and I threaten him "If you're not telling me how much should I pay you back, you don't have to go home" This trick is always useful to kids and teenagers! Unfortunately I did not get the chance to play his clavinova. When you have a keyboard which doesn't sound so beautiful, searching for better sound to play your song makes you feel complete.
I was exhausted but still had to drive, sent the girls back safely and almost fall asleep on the way home, thank goodness I reached home safely.
Looking forward for the next gathering with primary school friends, hope there will be more people can attend next time.
